Program #1: Battlefield Repatriation Initiative
World War II & Cold War Veterans
The Battlefield Repatriation Initiative offers combat veterans from WWII and the Cold War a chance to contemplate their experiences and achieve emotional resolution by revisiting the locations where they engaged in combat and paying tribute to their deceased comrades. These initiatives elicit profound emotions, enabling veterans to reconcile with their former adversaries and make significant contributions to the Foundation's education programs.
Program #2: Battlefield Repatriation Initiative
Vietnam War Veterans
The objective of the Vietnam Battlefield Repatriation initiative is to reintegrate Vietnam combat veterans into the battlefields, honoring their bravery and selfless dedication to their country. These programs foster tranquility and equity by recognizing the altruistic courage of these veterans and honoring the contributions of both surviving individuals and those who have departed. Additionally, they function as a lasting homage to the valuable contributions they have made.
“Engaging in conversations, sharing personal narratives, and fostering empathy for deceased comrades can lead to a profound sense of healing upon revisiting battlefields with TGGF.”
— William Reynolds, US. Army, 1966
Program #3: Education Travel Program
Connecting Generations
Our Connecting Generation Educational Enrichment Program is to preserve the legacy of the Greatest Generation by providing educational travel opportunities to underprivileged students, enabling them to visit Normandy, France. Scholarships provide students and teachers with the opportunity to study the historical context of the Normandy military operation, focusing specifically on the strategic goals and efforts of American soldiers during the war.
