Our 25-year history and evolving mission.

For 25 years, The Greatest Generations Foundation has honored the service and sacrifice of veterans by returning them to the battlefields where history was made. Through these journeys, we witnessed the lasting power of their stories and their desire for future generations to understand the sacrifices made in defense of freedom. Today, we carry that responsibility forward by connecting America's students and educators to the historic battlefields of Normandy, France—ensuring that the veterans' stories, lessons, and legacies continue to inspire generations to come.

WHY WE EXIST

The responsibility veterans passed to us.

For 25 years, we walked alongside veterans on the battlefields that shaped their lives, listening to their stories and honoring their sacrifices. Through these experiences, we came to understand a responsibility greater than remembrance alone: ensuring that their voices, experiences, and lessons are passed on to future generations. Their legacy is now our responsibility to preserve.

A LEGACY ENTRUSTED TO US

We carry their legacy forward through education.

Our mission continues through the next generation. By bringing underserved students and educators to the historic battlefields of Normandy, we transform the stories and sacrifices of veterans into powerful, firsthand educational experiences. Beginning with Normandy as our flagship program, we are removing financial barriers to ensure that the lessons of the past continue to inspire, educate, and shape generations to come.

CONNECTING GENERATIONS

A Call to the Sons, Daughters, and Families of World War II Veterans

Every veteran's story is a piece of history that deserves to be preserved. We invite the families and descendants of World War II veterans to join our mission by sharing personal stories, photographs, letters, and treasured memories of their loved ones. Through our preservation efforts and museum in Normandy, these invaluable contributions can help connect future generations to the courage, sacrifice, and humanity of those who served—ensuring their voices and legacies are never forgotten.

THEIR STORIES. OUR LEGACY
