WHO WE ARE

The Making of the Greatest GENERATIONS Foundation

Enriched and led by the veterans who once saved the world, The Greatest Generations Foundation stands as a testament to their courage, compassion, and resolve—honoring a solemn commitment to return combat veterans, at no cost to them, to the battlefields where they once served with honor.

“Standing once more on sacred soil, in sharing our stories, we help the next generations of youth grasp the true cost of freedom — and the enduring strength that remembrance carries.”

- James BLANE, Iwo Jima (1945)

    The FOUNDER

Inspired by a promise to his grandfather, Timothy Davis set out to build a living bridge between generations — where remembrance becomes healing and the past guides the future. What began as one grandson’s devotion grew into a mission uniting veterans, families, and communities in gratitude. From Normandy’s shores to the Pacific islands, The Greatest Generations Foundation was born — not just an organization, but a guardian of memory, carrying forward stories of valor, sacrifice, and brotherhood to inspire generations to come.

    The JOURNEY

For over two decades, the Foundation has honored America’s veterans across thirty nations shaped by World War II. Guided by one man’s enduring vision, it carries remembrance and gratitude to the very shores, fields, and skies where freedom was won. Through pilgrimages, education, and cultural exchange, thousands of veterans have been served, thousands of children enriched, and millions of memories created—enduring testaments to courage, sacrifice, and the timeless spirit of freedom that continues to unite generations worldwide.

    The LEGACY

Honoring the final wishes of World War II heroes, the Foundation carries their legacy through Connecting Generations—an immersive educational initiative ensuring their sacrifices inspire the future. Beyond textbooks, students engage directly with veterans, turning history into dialogue and battlefields into classrooms of conscience. Expanding its mission, the Foundation now serves the next great generation—Vietnam veterans—through healing pilgrimages, community enrichment, and the preservation of enduring legacies.

Why it Matters

Fulfilling their final wish, many veterans lacked the means to make this journey; yet through the kindness of fellow veterans and the steadfast love of our organization, their return became possible—at no cost to them. Each pilgrimage to the battlefields honors a generation whose sacrifice endures as a timeless testament to peace, healing, and the enduring strength of gratitude.

Guardians of Memory

Guided by a profound sense of historical duty, our organization fulfills the enduring wish of veterans—to preserve their legacy for generations to come. Through meticulous archival preservation and collaboration with historians and scholars, we safeguard their testimonies of service and sacrifice, ensuring authenticity, remembrance, and a lasting appreciation of the human spirit’s resilience in times of conflict.
