“Grounded in healing, we enter the hardest places—turning pain into strength, and strength into hope—so those we serve can overcome the ghosts of war.”

— Melvin WALKER, Ambassador (Normandy)

Welcome

Guided by veterans and the descendants of World War II, The Greatest Generations Foundation stands as a steadfast steward of our nation’s memory—protecting, preserving, and honoring the legacy of World War II through deliberate remembrance. We carry their stories forward with reverence, uphold their sacrifices with unwavering fidelity, and safeguard the lessons of their lives so their example continues to heal, strengthen, and guide our nation’s character and conscience for generations to come.

How We Keep History Alive

Our framework honors service where history was written and advances healing through purposeful remembrance. Battlefield pilgrimages enable veterans to return with dignity, give voice to what was long carried in silence, and be respectfully witnessed. Our curriculum brings youth and educators to Normandy to honor the fallen and carry their legacy forward through intergenerational connection.

“Healing the deep scars of war reminds us that, even after great pain and long conflict, true healing and reconciliation remain possible.”

— Timothy DAVIS, Founder

“Our programs create meaningful opportunities for combat veterans to achieve healing and closure beyond what conventional treatment models typically offer.”

— James HACKETT, USMC (Vietnam)

“Through our mission, we carry forward the legacies of those we lost, honoring their sacrifice by working each day to protect the freedoms they secured for us.”

— Joe REILLY, D-Day (Normandy)
