Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why are you doing this?

We strongly believe that revisiting the previous battlegrounds provides combat veterans with a sense of comfort and healing for the injuries or traumas they endured during their time in service.

How long has have you been doing this?

In 2002, we commenced the reintegration of veterans into combat zones, and two years later, an in-depth foundation was established to address the substantial number of veterans seeking resolution regarding their military experiences.

Do you have to be a combat veteran to be selected?

Yes, our programs are specifically designed to support combat veterans who face significant challenges due to combat fatigue in a foreign battlefield.

Q: Can my wife, husband or partner participate in my return?

No. Our organization is designed for veterans to achieve a complete sense of closure, it is important to recognize that the organization does not function as a tour operator or travel agency. We have a stringent policy that prohibits the inclusion of partners or individuals of importance in your return program.

Q: Could you please provide information on the costs associated with participation?

All veterans who participate in our overseas battlefield repatriation programs can achieve resolution without incurring any expenses. Our extraordinary policy is rigorously enforced by the founder, who is instrumental in our mission to assist veterans in overcoming the emotional and psychological repercussions of war.

Q: From where do you conduct your programs?

The areas of focus are the European and Pacific battlefields of World War II, the Korean Peninsula, and South-East Asia.

Q: How physically strenuous is the return program?

Many of our journeys require challenging ascents or extended hikes. In certain areas of older cities, it might be required to take a brief stroll from the motorcoach parking area in order to access the historic battlefield.

Q: What is the average size you group?

The maximum capacity of our programs is limited to thirty (30) travelers. Each program will be equipped with a robust support team comprising medical professionals, translators, escorts, and film production personnel.

Q: Is it necessary for me to be in good physical condition to travel?

Yes, all participants must have medical clearance in order to travel on any of our international programs. We carefully customize the duties of veterans on an individual basis to ensure their welfare during their travels to their battlefields.

Q: What is the process for submitting my unit for recommendation?

If you have a strong desire to revisit Vietnam and want to nominate members of your unit for a final reunion, please provide a written letter of introduction. In the letter, describe yourself, your unit, the battles you were involved in, and the key areas where you served in Vietnam. Please be sure to add a copy of your DD-214. If you do not have it, do not apply.

Q: Do you provide insurance and protection?

Due to the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, we kindly request that each participant obtain an individual travel insurance policy for their own protection. The COVID-19 virus is still present, and it is imperative that we take measures to ensure the protection of all participants.

Q: I have a walker, wheelchair or scooter. Can I go on a overseas program?

Due to the remote nature of the locations we visit, we do not allow walkers, wheelchairs, or scooters on our programs.
