Connecting Generations Through Education

From the Veterans Who Made History to the Students Who Will Preserve It.

The Greatest Generations Foundation is carrying forward the enduring wishes of World War II veterans by connecting America's students and educators to the historic battlefields where their courage and sacrifice shaped our world. Through our Normandy Educational Pilgrimage Programs, we bring history to life with transformative learning experiences rooted in remembrance, historical understanding, and civic responsibility. Our vision is to make Normandy the world's greatest living classroom, ensuring the legacy of those who served continues to educate and inspire future generations.
