“IN PURSUIT OF STEADFAST HEALING FOR COMBAT WOUNDED VETERANS, WE GO WHERE OTHER ORGANIZATIONS CANNOT.”
— E. Bruce HEILMAN, National Spokesman
WHO WE ARE
For more than 25 years, The Greatest Generations Foundation has preserved the firsthand history of those who served and carried their stories across generations. Through remembrance, battlefield return, reconciliation, and civic education, we connect the past to the present—so the lessons of service, sacrifice, conflict, and responsibility are never lost.
GUARDIANS OF MEMORY
Preserving history is a generational responsibility. As the firsthand voices of the World War II generation diminish, the responsibility to carry their experiences forward passes to their sons and daughters—and, in time, to every generation that follows. Through family testimony, archival preservation, research, and education, we help ensure that their service, sacrifice, and lessons are not simply remembered, but responsibly entrusted from one generation to the next.
“Veterans know better than anyone else the price of freedom, for they've suffered the scars of war..”
— Ronald REGAN
